The type filter in the top-right corner lets you narrow the feed to a single content type. Selecting News does two things at once — it filters the right feed to news-only rows, and it transforms the left panel into a category filter.

Click the filter button to open a dropdown with five options:

What Changes When You Select News

Right feed — shows only news rows. Each row has a category badge (e.g. Corporate Earnings, Insider Sell, Minority Stakes Deals) and a 5-bar impact signal. Raw filing rows are hidden.

Left panel — the sector performance list is replaced by a News Category list, grouped by event type. This lets you drill further into exactly which kind of news you want to see.

How Category Filtering Works

Each category has a checkbox and follows a three-state toggle:

First click — Include

The checkbox turns blue (✓). The feed narrows to show only news with that category badge.

Second click — Exclude

The checkbox changes to an exclude state (−). News with that category is hidden from the feed.

Third click — Reset

The checkbox clears back to neutral. No filter applied for that category.

Multiple selections — you can check or exclude as many categories as you want at the same time. For example: include Corporate Earnings + include Dividends shows both; include Corporate Earnings + exclude Insider Sell shows earnings news while hiding insider sell news.
The News 1 badge on the filter button in the top-right shows how many category filters are currently active.

Click any news headline in the feed to open the Article Detail overlay.

  • Pagination — navigate through all items in the current filtered feed (e.g. “1/20”) using the left/right arrows
  • Ticker + company name and current price change with 5-bar impact signal
  • Headline and article body — a concise, fact-only summary (~50–60 words) generated directly from the SEC filing
  • Category badge — confirms the event type
  • Sources — the exact SEC filing that generated this article (e.g. EX-99.1 · 14 Jul 2026). Click the arrow to open the source document.
Every news article links back to its source SEC filing. The Sources section is how you go from the summary straight to the primary document — or you can open AI Chat directly from the article to ask questions about it.
