Creating a Watchlist
Open the Watchlists section
Select Watchlists from the left sidebar. If this is your first time, you’ll see a prompt to create your first list.
Name your watchlist
Click New Watchlist and give it a meaningful name — for example, “AI Stocks”, “Biotech”, or “Q3 Watchlist”. You can create as many lists as you need.
Add tickers
Search for companies by name or ticker symbol, or type naturally — for example, “Add NVDA, MSFT, and GOOGL”. Insighthread understands plain language, so you don’t need to navigate separate menus to build your list.
Using Natural Language to Add Tickers
You don’t need to search for each stock individually. Insighthread’s natural language input lets you add tickers by typing phrases the way you’d say them out loud. Try inputs like:- “Add NVDA to my AI Stocks list”
- “Add Tesla and Ford to my EV watchlist”
- “Remove INTC from Growth Plays”
What You See on a Watchlist
Every watchlist gives you a consolidated view of the stocks you’re tracking:- Live price changes — real-time price and percentage moves for each ticker
- Recent news events — headlines filtered to your watched companies only
- Latest filings — SEC filings from your tickers surface at the top of the filing feed
- One-click company access — tap any ticker to jump directly to its full company profile
Managing Multiple Lists
You can maintain as many watchlists as you need, each organized around a different theme, strategy, or sector. Switch between them instantly using the sidebar. Each list maintains its own filtered news and filing feed, so switching lists also switches your research context.Watchlists launched on June 20, 2026. If you don’t see the Watchlists option in your sidebar, make sure you’re on the latest version of the Insighthread app at app.insighthread.com.
