Starting Your Free Trial

Every new account includes a 7-day free trial with full access to all Insighthread features — AI Chat, SEC Filings, Insider Trades, News Feed, Watchlists, Earnings Transcripts, and more. No credit card is required to get started.

Go to the sign-up page

Navigate to https://app.insighthread.com/auth and click Sign Up.

Create your account

Enter your email address and choose a password, or continue with a supported OAuth provider. Confirm your email if prompted.

Start researching immediately

Your 7-day free trial begins the moment your account is created. You have full access to every feature on the platform — no restrictions, no credit card needed.

Upgrading to a Paid Plan

When your trial period ends, you’ll be prompted to choose a paid plan to keep your access. You can also upgrade at any time before your trial expires from within the app.

Monthly Plan

$30 / month — billed month to month. Flexible with no long-term commitment. Cancel anytime.

Annual Plan

**300/year∗∗—save300 / year** — save 60 compared to monthly billing. That’s 2 months free every year.
To upgrade, open https://app.insighthread.com, click your avatar or initials in the top-right corner, navigate to Account Settings → Billing, and select the plan that works best for you. You’ll be redirected to a secure Stripe checkout page to complete your purchase.

Switching Plans

You can switch between the monthly and annual plans at any time from your billing settings.
  1. Go to Account Settings → Billing.
  2. Click Change Plan and select your preferred billing cycle.
  3. Confirm the change.
Plan switches take effect at the start of your next billing cycle — you won’t lose any access or be double-charged during your current period. If you switch from monthly to annual, you’ll receive a prorated credit toward the annual price.

Canceling Your Subscription

You can cancel your Insighthread subscription at any time — no cancellation fees, no hoops to jump through.

Open Billing settings

Go to Account Settings → Billing inside the app.

Click Cancel Subscription

Select Cancel Subscription and follow the on-screen prompts to confirm.

Keep your access until the period ends

Your subscription remains active through the end of your current billing period. You won’t be charged again after that.
Billing is processed securely via Stripe. Insighthread never stores your payment card details — all payment information is handled directly by Stripe’s PCI-compliant infrastructure.
If you cancel, you’ll lose access to AI Chat, the SEC filings feed, Insider Trades, Earnings Transcripts, and all other premium features at the end of your current billing period. Make sure to export or save any research you want to keep before your access lapses.

Billing FAQs

No. Your 7-day free trial requires no credit card, so there’s nothing to charge when it ends. If your trial expires and you haven’t added a payment method, your account will simply move to a free (limited) state. You’ll only be charged once you actively choose a plan and enter your billing details.
Insighthread doesn’t currently offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact the support team via the in-app help widget or by reaching out through https://insighthread.com and the team will review your case.
Insighthread accepts all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) through Stripe. Other payment methods available through Stripe — such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, or bank debits — may be available depending on your region.
