# Company Profiles: Deep Research on Any Public Stock

> Insighthread Company Profiles give you AI analysis, a live stock chart, key financials, SEC filings, news events, and IR materials — all in one place.

Each of the 6,000+ companies on Insighthread has a dedicated profile page that consolidates everything you need for research — live price data, AI-generated analysis, recent SEC filings, news events, and investor relations materials. Instead of jumping between a brokerage, a news aggregator, and the SEC EDGAR database, you get a single, continuously updated view of any covered public company.

## What's on a Company Profile

## Navigating to a Company

  <Step title="Open the search bar">
    Click the search bar at the top of the app, or press the keyboard shortcut to bring it into focus from anywhere in Insighthread.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Type a name or ticker">
    Enter a company name (e.g., "Nvidia") or its ticker symbol (e.g., "NVDA"). Results appear as you type.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select the company">
    Click the matching result to open its full profile page. All tabs — Overview, Financials, Earnings, Filings — are available immediately.

## AI Analysis on the Profile

Insighthread's AI automatically generates analysis for each company based on its most recent SEC filings. When you open a profile, you'll see a summary of key highlights — including anything notable the company disclosed in its latest 10-Q, 10-K, or 8-K.

You can go deeper by using **AI Chat** directly from the profile page. Because the AI is already loaded with context about that specific company, your questions get precise, document-grounded answers. Ask things like:

* "What were the biggest risk factors in the latest 10-K?"
* "How did gross margin change over the last two quarters?"
* "Did management comment on any regulatory exposure?"

  Click the **AI Chat** button from a company profile rather than starting a fresh chat from the home screen. The AI loads the company's filing context automatically, which means more accurate and relevant answers without you needing to specify which company you mean.

## IR Materials

Many companies file investor relations slides, earnings presentations, and supplemental data packages as attachments to Form 8-K filings. Insighthread's **IR Materials viewer** pulls these documents out of the filing and displays them inline — so you can read through slides and exhibits directly in the app without downloading a PDF or leaving the profile.

This is especially useful around earnings season, when companies frequently publish detailed financial supplements alongside their official results.

  IR Materials are sourced from Form 8-K attachments filed with the SEC. Availability depends on what each company chooses to file — not all companies attach presentation materials to every 8-K.
